Anthony Cervantes
I am a software engineer in San Antonio. I have spent most of my career around operations, automation, databases, and internal systems that quietly do a lot of work.
I like tools with a clear job. I like systems that are easy to reason about. I like when the boring parts are solid enough that people can move faster without pretending production is simple.
These days I am using this domain for small products, experiments, and notes I want to keep public.
What I work on
My work usually sits between product software and operational reality: infrastructure that needs clear failure modes, database tools that should make inspection safer, automation that removes repeat manual work, and small apps that do one job without pulling in a larger platform than the job deserves.
The current public focus is Rust tooling, macOS and iOS utilities, ScyllaDB and Cassandra workflows, Cloudflare-hosted static sites, and small product surfaces that can be explained without a long sales page.
I use this site as the stable public index for that work. If a project has a product page, support page, privacy page, or source repository, the goal is for cervantes.io to point to the current canonical place instead of leaving people to infer it from old links.
